Sometimes housekeeping means more than just tidying up, though. I like drawing and all, but I've been using this username online since about 1997 and it's time for something fresh. It's been that long since I logged into dA. It's hard to say when exactly I stopped caring to log in, but one day it happened without making so much as a ripple in the pond. There's a lot of things dA is good for, but there's a lot of things it induces a headache over, too. I used to spend a lot of time here, watching people, browsing artwork, searching for inspiration. Over time I lost my inspiration, though, and with it, my interest in drawing sort of faded away as well. I used to do a lot of things. I've always been a jack-of-all-trades kind of person, drawing and writing and sewing and making jewelry. But life goes on and I don't have

Or not-quite-spring cleaning. Either way I just rearranged everything in my gallery because it was a mess and I didn't like it. I took out some very unsightly things, but left some unsightly things in just for fun. It's weird to look back on all the old stuff and realize how badly I sucked x_x And kind of nice, because I suck marginally less now! I have a bunch of things I've done lately that aren't drawings but are still artsy. Been playing with jewelry a lot, making maps and rendering crap, working on new plushies, and playing with my camera... I've just been in an artistic rut lately, but feh, what else is new?
